Introducing MooDash ver 1.0
I’ve been looking at my dashboard and wanting it to be basically remain the same but in a much smaller/manageable way.
With the recent release of my moo.fx archive plugin (found here: CDC Clean Archives) I thought it would be handy to have the dash ... Continue reading »

  • Good stuff, thanks. However, there is a problem in wp-moodash.php: the directories to the js-libraries are not correct.

  • Could you show some screenshots. I would like to check it out before I install it.

    Michiel
  • Smootret, Thanks for pointing that out. The file is fixed now.
    Michiel:
You can view a screenshot here
  • Ack! My admin disappeared when I did this!!! Strongly recommend you backup your index.php file before trying this plugin!!
  • What version of wordpress are you using? I tested against a stock 2.0.2 install as well as a stock 1.5 version.
  • Hey chris, cool of you to check back with me.

I am using version 2.0.2 of WP.

What I did was upload the moodash folder to the plugins directory and then upload the index.php to the admin folder.

When i went back to login the page was simply black -- no php errors or anything. If you like I can do some js debugging for you.

    cheers.
  • Can't login to your demo installation. Did somebody change the password?
  • Bradley, that would be great if you wanted to let me know if you do see any errors.

Jason, password has been reset to demo. Let me know if you still can't get in.
  • Nope, still doesn't work with demo/demo as login/password... =(

    -Sino.
  • Fixed again. I need to figure out how to lock that down.
  • Like everyone else, Demo doesn't work as the password for WP anymore =( Let me know when it's updated so I can take it for a test drive!
  • Having issues with login into the demo Admin Panel, please let me know when you have this sorted out.
  • Ok I've set it up so you can register an account that will let you get a look at the plugin without having to worry about someone changing the password on ya.

Sorry for the delay but I've been running about like a crazy man handling baby shopping, a very pregnant mother to be and also working on the Royal Knights drumcorps staff hiring. Fun stuff :D

Hello Chris, I saw the screenshot of the dashboard that u posted, but what cought my attention a bit was the really cool looking admin panel, the “categories” of the admin tools to the left of the screen, what is it called? where can I find it? looking really nice, and thanks for a really nice plugin!
    cheers
  • ah that would be this plugin: WP_Tiger

It's a great revamping of the way the entire admin area looks. One of my all time favorite plugins.
  • ';">
  • The demo password is not working
  • Dude,

You're an artist. Thanks for the fantastic plugin.. My admin panel looks like something straight out of OSX ;)

    Cheers
    Hank
  • The moodash demo doesn't seem to like Demo, Demo for entry...
  • Do you know if this works on WPMU? I'm interested in rolling out some of these features to speed up my site.
  • I'm still working out a few bugs on the wpmu version. It's undergoing testing on my current dev install with a regular large scale test on dreamflicks.com sometime next week.

As far as I have seen so far it's working quite nicely. The only real issue is trying to get the moo.fx pared down a little more to cut down on bandwidth.
