Fun with Wordpress 2.5

So noticing that Matt Mullenweg blogged that there was a release candidate for Wordpress 2.5 up I decided to try an upgrade to see what the fuss was all about.

    Man, you first-release hair-trigger adopters! I remember back when there was no "release candidate" version and none of this newfangled "incremental release" crap. You youngun's these days! When I was a software kid we got our bits on stacks of floppies and had to wait years between cycles! Installs took hours and hours, swapping floppies and listening to the whir of the drives ... and we LIKED IT! 'Cause before that we had to do it by punchcard ... heh, heh, yeah, we did it by punchcard, and we liked it!

    Very cool. Have you had a chance to test out any of your plugins yet? I'd like to know if the Clean Archives plugin works without problems as well as the MooDash.

    No I haven;t yet checked any of my plugins. I've still got to go through and check the coding to make sure it follows the new guidelines as well as make a few changes here and there.
    One of my major goals is going to be revamping the Tiger Admin plugin created by Steve Smith at Ordered List so it's compatible.
